I do not think they fully understood what would happen when they released the Amesoeur Potion to the public. They couldn't possibly have foreseen all the trouble it was going to cause. Right?

Yes. No. Possibly. I suppose so, though it makes little difference now. I don't know who was responsible for the mistake. I'm sure it wasn't me that they meant to give it to.

I'm okay. I don't really interact with a whole lot of people, so I'll be fine. What's the chances I'll just bump into someone and it'll activate. Has to be pretty slim, doesn't it? Maybe it'll never activate.

Oh Miles, no one is going to take me away. I don't want a soul mate. Even if it does activate, it doesn't change anything. I can't be with someone I don't trust, so I'm not going anywhere. Potion or not.
